The
wearing top surface uses smaller rubber granules and extra binder
to give a smooth and hardwearing rubberised surface and is laid
to a depth of 15mm.
Where extra thickness is required a base layer, using larger
rubber granules and less binder provides a good and cost effective
solution. Wet
pour rubber is a thick viscous material when applied, allowing
the bound rubber to be poured around play equipment, supports and
other hardware creating a seamless finish.
Using
EPDM rubber granules opens up the possibility of creative colourful
designs that can incorporate graphics. Wet
pour rubberised playground safety surfaces can be laid directly
on existing level sound surfaces such as concrete or tarmac.
Other surfaces
may require engineered base work, which we can specify and install.
